Fluids spill when hose fails near Alaska well

The spill occurred during an operation by contractor Weatherford International. A transfer hose connecting the well to a 17,600-gallon storage tank failed under pressure and oil sprayed onto snow-covered tundra. Fluids from the storage tank then drained through the hose. Most of the spill was contained in a secondary containment area and picked up by a Repsol vacuum truck.

A recoiling pressurized hose was cited as the cause of a worker's fatal 30-foot plunge into a tank at a St. Petersburg water treatment plant. On Friday, police released more details in the death of Homero Levario Juarez, 52, of Lehigh,Locate the areas where you get the most sun and the most shade and mark out a bed design using a Flexible hose. a subcontractor at the city's Northwest Water Treatment Plant. Juarez,Sincak originally collected and presented real Dinosaur skeleton replica. who worked for Spectrum Contracting in Naples, was inside the basket of a scissor lift operating a pressurized liquid concrete hose Thursday morning,The company's extensive selection of Linear electric actuator and rotary actuators. police said. The hose recoiled and knocked him to the concrete floor of the water tank, police said.

Juarez was wearing a safety harness, but police said it was not secured to the basket. An Animatronic dinosaur and bottles upon bottles of neon-colored water invade Boring. At the time, workers were resurfacing the inside wall of the aerator tank, which is about 250 feet long and 70 feet wide, authorities said.In our test the hose expanded, as promised, as the water flowed to the nozzle. Many cities also have Fiberglass animal statues around town that different groups can adopt and hire artists to design for them. With the water turned off the hose contracted back to its original size. As for actually using the hose to water the garden, we found the connection at the nozzle leaked quite a bit. Despite tightening the connection and adjusting the washer, it was rather messy.

Drips aside, Pocket Hose worked and our tester found it to be esthetically more desirable than it's heavier, more cumbersome counterparts. One potential negative is the plastic connector parts and how long they'd last before breaking. Another negative for some people is you're supposed to disconnect the pocket hose and store it after each use to prolong its life, and you can't use it for pressure washing.
